Privacy Notice
What we collect, why we collect it, and who can see your net sheets. We do not sell your data or your clients' details.

1. What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign up as a brokerage or title company, we also store your organisation name, the state you operate in, and your public page address.
Branding you upload. Your logo and the contact details you want shown on your PDFs.
Net sheet contents. The deal details you enter — such as property price, loan amount, rates, and any client or property name you choose to add — along with the figures we calculate from them.
Operational records. Sign-in events and basic technical logs needed to keep the service secure and working, plus any message you send us through the contact form.
2. Client information is your responsibility
You decide whether to type a client's name or a property address into a net sheet. Nothing requires you to. If you do enter details about another person, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so, and we process that information only to provide the service to you.
3. How we use your data
To operate your account, calculate and store your net sheets, generate your PDFs, serve the share links you create, send transactional email such as verification and password resets, keep the service secure, and respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your net sheets for advertising.
4. Usage counting when paid plans begin
Net Sheets App is free today and we are not currently metering usage. When we introduce paid plans we will need to count how many net sheets each person saves, so that we can apply the free allowance described in our Terms of Service.
What we will and will not count
- We count the number of net sheets each user saves per calendar month, in order to apply the free allowance of 5 per person. The count is held per person and is not pooled across an account, because seats are billed individually rather than as one combined bill.
- That count is a number of sheets and the date they were saved. Applying an allowance does not require reading the deal figures or client details inside a sheet, and we will not use those contents for billing.
- If a brokerage or title company pays for your seat, its administrators can see that the seat exists and that they are being billed for it. They do not receive your monthly sheet count as part of that — paying for a seat removes the limit rather than metering it.
- We will tell you at least 30 days before any charge applies, and we will update this notice if the data we need for billing changes.
5. Who can see your net sheets
By default, only you. Beyond that, visibility depends on how your account is set up:
Share links. When you share a sheet, we create a link that shows a read-only version. Anyone holding that link can open it, so treat it as you would an email attachment and only send it to the intended recipient.
Brokerages. If you are a member of a brokerage, its administrators can manage your membership and set the defaults your sheets use.
Sponsoring title companies. A sponsor supplies rate defaults to your account. Sponsorship alone does not give a title company access to the contents of your saved net sheets.
6. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service, including cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and an email provider for transactional messages. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us.
If you use the optional property lookup, we send the property address you entered to a third-party property-data provider in order to retrieve public record information. We do not send your client's name or any other details from your sheet. We cache the returned property record so repeat lookups for the same address do not need another request.
7. Retention
We keep your account data while your account is open, and your net sheets until you delete them. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and your saved sheets, other than records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Deleting a sheet also disables any share link you created for it.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed, access is scoped so that queries return only your own records, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us if something looks wrong with your account.
9. Your choices
You can view and update your details in Settings, export a sheet as a PDF at any time, delete individual sheets, or ask us to delete your account entirely. To make a request about your personal data, contact us using the address below.
10. Changes and contact
If we make a material change to this notice we will update the effective date above and, where the change affects how we use your data, tell you by email. Questions or requests can go to info@netsheetsapp.com.
